Profile of Shoji Komuro

Shoji Komuro was born in Fukushima Prefecture, Japan, in 1944. He served the Maritime Self-Defense Force for 18 years, and during that service he worked as a member of a submarine crew for 10 years.
During his service, he learned and mastered Nihon Kenpou, one of the Japanese martial arts, and its profound parts of Sappou, the art to defeat, and Kappou, the art to revive. In 1983 he started his career as a practitioner, providing treatments to cure physical and mental ill conditions. In 1988 he created his own method of treatment, the Shizen Hado Ho. He runs a clinic of Shizen Hado Ho, and in parallel to providing his treatments, he trains practitioners of Shizen Hado Ho. He also runs a school of Nihon Kenpou, named Seishinkan ( a school of sincere hearts), where he teaches and trains a number of Nihon Kenpou players at various ages. He serves various positions in the organizations relating to Nihon Kenpo.
